Position Summary:

Aphora Health is seeking a Human Resources Manager who combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution. This role owns the development of Aphora’s HR strategy and serves as the trusted HR advisor to the CEO.

Although a non–people leader, the HR Manager has the authority needed to manage vendors and suppliers, and to hold internal teams accountable.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute an early-stage HR strategy for scale
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to the CEO and other senior leaders
  • Build foundational HR infrastructure
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships

HR Operations and Employee Experience

  • Primary HR contact for employees
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding
  • Support employee relation matters
  • Coach managers on performance and policy

Benefits and Compensation Administration

  • Administer benefits
  • Liaise with PEO partners
  • Coordinate payroll
  • Support compensation reviews

Compliance, HRIS, and Process Optimization

  • Ensure multi-state compliance
  • Maintain HR policies and handbook
  • Administer HRIS workflows and reporting
  • Implement HR process improvements

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 5+ years progressive HR experience
  • Strong HR operations and compliance background
  • SHRM CP/SCP preferred

Pay: $95,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
