Full Job Description

OverviewJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality direct patient care across diverse medical settings. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews, utilizing your strong anatomy and physiology knowledge.
  • Assist in diagnosing conditions through diagnostic evaluation and interpret diagnostic imaging results, such as radiographs or ultrasound findings.
  • Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments and other medications, following aseptic technique and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Manage acute pain and critical care cases by providing appropriate interventions within hospital or emergency room settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge planning strategies and coordinate post-acute care or hospice & palliative medicine services.
  • Document patient encounters accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in clinical research or clinical trials to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification; experience administering injections and performing physical examinations required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems; experience with data collection and management is preferred.
  • Critical care experience in hospital medicine, ICU, or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers, including trauma triage and acute care management.
  • Familiarity with hospital protocols for infection control, aseptic technique, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Additional skills in telehealth experience, occupational health, neonatal ventilator management, or pediatric care are advantageous.
