Job SummaryOur small, rapidly growing private practice is looking to add a physician’s assistant for medication management to our tea. We are looking for a compassionate physician’s assistant to contribute to our team to provide true excellence in care. Responsibilities include to provide patient assessments and diagnosis, prescribe medications, and provide patient education and prepare medical records. Must hold current NC license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and coding practices.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Must posses an active DEA number.
  • Strong skills in psychiatric medication and diagnoses.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to the role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and compassion towards patients.

Position can be a combination of in-person and telehealth. Must be willing to provide medication management to children as well.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $109,083.00 – $114,996.00 per year
