OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will share TrueCare’s commitment to a holistic, patient-centered approach to healthcare that emphasizes patient education and empowerment. TrueCare Urgent Care is a startup that is an extension of TrueCare DPC. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and thoroughly educating patients on their diagnosis and treatment plan.
Responsibilities
- Operate autonomously as chief clinician on site
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, nail avulsions, skin biopsies etc.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Respond to medical emergencies by utilizing basic life support techniques when necessary.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- NCCPA Certification
- North Carolina License
- Able to complete BLS and ALS training
- Previous experience in internal medicine or critical care is preferred but new grads are more than welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in performing minor in office procedures is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of patient care standards and best practices in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
