PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT – PART-TIME

At Vascular Solutions, The Leg Vein Experts, our Board-Certified leg vein specialists are dedicated to solving leg vein problems through accurate diagnosis, advanced medical treatments, and expert care. We provide exceptional vascular care to our patients and are committed to improving their quality of life.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in a part-time capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon in a patient-focused specialty practice where you’ll make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day.
Your Impact as a Physician Assistant:
Clinical Excellence
· Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and assessments
· Perform vascular procedures, including ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, cosmetic sclerotherapy, and diagnostic ultrasounds.
· Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients
· Perform patient follow-ups and manage ongoing care plans
· Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to venous disease
Patient Care & Education
· Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs
· Educate patients on venous disease, treatment options, and preventive care
· Answer patient questions thoroughly and compassionately throughout their care journey
· Ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for in a comfortable environment
Collaborative Practice
· Work closely with our Board-Certified Vascular Surgeons who train other doctors
· Collaborate with our clinical team, including ultrasound technologists and medical assistants
· Participate in practice development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
· Contribute to our culture of innovation and clinical excellence
Your Qualifications:
Required:
· Current North Carolina Physician Assistant license in good standing
· National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
· Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (surgical or procedural specialty preferred)
· DEA license or the ability to obtain
· Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Commitment to patient-centered care and compassionate practice
Preferred:
· Experience in vascular surgery, interventional procedures, or dermatology
· Familiarity with venous disease and treatment modalities
· Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures
· Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)
Position Details:
Start Date: March 1, 2026
We are currently accepting applications for a position starting March 1, 2026. This timeline allows for a thorough recruitment and interview process, as well as adequate time for onboarding and training. Early applicants are encouraged!
· Part-time position with flexible scheduling options
· Anticipated work schedule: 2-3 days per week (schedule to be determined based on practice needs and candidate availability)
· Shifts typically run between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM
· Opportunity for professional growth and increased hours as practice expands
· Potential transition to full-time as we prepare for our new facility opening in 2027
