Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular & Cardiothoracic Surgery – Locum

Specialty: Cardiovascular & Cardiothoracic SurgerySchedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shiftsPay Rate: $80 – $120 per hour

We are looking for a skilled Physician Assistant with experience in Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This locum position offers a unique 7 on/7 off schedule, with no call, no OR duties, and no ICU coverage for cardiothoracic surgery patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-manage vascular surgery patients in the ICU and on the floor (in collaboration with the Critical Care team)
• Manage cardiothoracic surgery floor patients (no ICU coverage required)
• Provide patient care coordination, rounding, and follow-up
• Epic EMR for documentation

Requirements:

• Board-certified Physician Assistant
• Experience in Cardiovascular and/or Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• NC state license or ability to obtain
