Doctors Plus Urgent Care is a full-service urgent care clinic that is delivering services to patients by either appointment or walk-in 7 days a week from 8:00am-7:30pm. We are independently owned and operated seeking a Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions including but not limited to conducting physical examinations, intrepreting lab tests, reading basic x-rays, sutures/skin adhesive, ordering lab results and POC testing for patients, prescribing medications, educating patients and their families if needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years + of experience as an advanced practice provider
- A clinical background in a urgent care setting, family medicine and/or emergency medicine is a must.
- Graduate of an accredited Physican Assitant and/or Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified Board Prepared through AANP, ANCC or NCCPA
- Nurse Practitioner national certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP
- Must have active medical license in the state of North Carolina
- Must have current BLS/CPR
- Active DEA liscense
- Able to perform DOT Physicals is a must.
- No liscense restrictions
- No malpractice claims, displinary actions, board orders or substance abuse
- Document all treatment activities according to National Association of Nurse Practitioners (NAAP) and American College of Nursing (ACN) standards including but not limited to, documentation of tests and treatments, patient education and understanding, preparation of reports and charts within a 24 hour turn around.

Pay: $65,878.43 – $79,337.47 per year
