We are currently searching for an experienced Physician Assistant to work with our Providers at our Pediatric office location in Charlotte.
This position requires collaboration with all health care team members including PA’s, NPs, physicians, administrative and ancillary staff. This candidate will be trained for a new urgent ortho care position in Charlotte within the pediatric orthopedic department. This clinic will provide walk-in accessibility for acute pediatric orthopedic injuries and/or concerns. Physicians and peer PA/NP’s will be available either in the clinic or remotely. The candidate will undergo comprehensive training in pediatric orthopedics before successfully transitioning into this role. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills and work well in a team-based environment. Our providers treat a diverse patient population in and around the Charlotte metropolitan area which requires covering various satellite locations. Candidate should be comfortable dealing with pediatric patients and caregivers. Excellent organization and time management skills required. Hands on experience includes splinting, cast application and removal, closed manipulations of fracture/dislocations, digital blocks, and joint aspiration/injection and (possible first assisting in the OR).
PA will primarily work at the main Charlotte campus and rotate to satellites as needed.

Education and Requirements:

Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.
Current in the following:
