Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide primary care services, chronic disease management, and infusion-related patient care under physician supervision. This role is ideal for a motivated provider experienced in outpatient clinical services with a passion for wellness and advanced therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions under MD supervision
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician
- Administer and oversee infusion therapies including:
- Iron infusions
- Hydration therapy
- Vitamin infusions
- Wellness injections
- Monitor infusion patients for adverse reactions and ensure compliance with protocols
- Perform physical exams and preventative health screenings
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff for seamless patient care
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification required
- DEA license preferred
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or internal medicine
- IV infusion or biologic therapy experience preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
- EMR proficiency
