A well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking an Assistant Medical Director – Family Medicine to join its growing team in Santa Fe, New Mexico, located approximately 60 miles (about a 1-hour drive) from Albuquerque. Contact: Raymond Stiles | (843) 574-8233 | raymond@nowhealthcare.org About the Organization Multispecialty FQHC serving the Albuquerque and Santa Fe communities since 1996 3 clinic locations, with an additional acquisition in progress 155 employees and 30+ providers Supportive, patient-centered “We Care” culture Projected 45,236 patient visits in FY2027 Current patient panel of approximately 10,000, with expected growth through acquisition Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $285,000 Up to 15% annual performance bonus $3,000 quarterly leadership stipend for each Pharmacist and Physician Assistant supervised 5 weeks (200 hours) PTO $3,000 CME allowance plus 5 CME days Additional $1,000 for licensure and professional memberships HRSA Student Loan Repayment eligibility Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with 4% employer match, and professional development Position Highlights 50% clinical care / 50% leadership responsibilities Monday-Friday schedule Reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer Average of 2.6 patients per clinical hour Athena EMR system-wide Position created due to continued organizational growth Responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care, supervising a team of 4 Physicians, 7 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Physician Assistants , supporting clinical operations, coordinating provider schedules, monitoring productivity, and collaborating with leadership on workflow improvements and practice growth. Shared call schedule averages 1-4 times per month , with nurse triage handling first-call responsibilities. ?
