Job Summary
The Infectious Disease Center of New Jersey is a highly regarded group practice with a stellar reputation for compassionate patient-focused care. The practice has a state of the art outpatient medical facility run by very experienced staff members. It features X ray on site, ECG on site, rapid testing on site, on site medical laboratories and more. The practice is located in Northern New Jersey with close proximity to Manhattan and the beautiful Jersey shores. It is located nearby several communities with excellent school systems and fantastic living environments.
We are seeking a Physician Assistant with strong work ethics and pleasant personalities to join our highly experienced team full-time or part time. We practice mainly from two large academic centers, offering a stimulating environment where physician assistant can engage in managing diverse cases and contribute to high-quality patient care. As we expand, there are significant opportunities for growth and leadership within the practice. This role involves diagnosing and treating various infectious diseases, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. The Infectious Disease Physician Assistant will work in a clinical setting, fully assisted by our physicians, focusing on patient service and health coaching to promote overall wellness.
Duties
- Diagnose and treat patients with infectious diseases, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding disease prevention and management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in infectious disease treatments and guidelines.
Requirements
- An active state license
