Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans- Perform procedures such as catheterization, gastric lavage, dermabrasion, and airway management, suturing, etc- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families- Administer medications and monitor patient response- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective care
Requirements:- Valid Physician Assistant license in NJ- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology- Minimum 3 years experience working as a Physician Assistant in an urgent care/ er setting preferred- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Willing to work minimum 2 weekends
– Willing to travel to our other 3 locations (Ewing, New Brunswick, Edison) as needed
