Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated, highly skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic practices, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide advanced clinical care, support surgical procedures, and contribute to patient recovery in a fast-paced hospital environment. The Orthopedic Physician Assistant will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring optimal outcomes through expert clinical management.

Locations: North Bergen, NJ; Paramus, NJ; Livingston, NJ, Carlstadt, NJ

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and vital signs documentation to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document patient encounters accurately, manage medical records, and facilitate data collection.
  • Participate in triage activities within emergency or urgent care settings, prioritizing patient needs based on severity and acuity levels.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive health information throughout all clinical activities.
  • The PA assists in diagnosing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal conditions, performing procedures, and supporting perioperative care. This position will work in our practices and rotate between the practice and ASC

Experience

  • Strong understanding of physiology related to musculoskeletal health combined with excellent patient assessment skills across diverse populations.
