Job Description:
Supporting Regulatory filings through the preparation of schedules and responses to discovery requests. Supporting the implementation of a new billing methodology for the Service Company Department. Assisting in budget preparation. Supporting improvements to the SAP Finance module.
Job Summary
This position will primarily support a CLIENT’s Utility line of business with the business planning process. Areas of responsibility will include create and maintain the annual cost plan (O&M and capital); support month end closing activities including journal entries, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis and reporting; and provide information and recommendations to clients that drive improved business results. The group works collaboratively with its Utility clients as well as other areas of Utility Finance and Accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze (Must Have) SAP financial reports to track O&M and Capital actuals against budgeted plans.
- Extract and compile historical SAP Capital expenditure line-item data into Excel.
- Perform line-item data extractions from SAP to investigate and analyze actual variances on internal orders.
- Maintain and update SAP internal order groups to ensure accurate data structures for O&M variance reporting.
- Collaborate with Electric Operations stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely monthly work order settlement corrections.
- Support month-end close reporting and variance analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP systems and professional competency across Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel (Must-Have)- Such as Reporting, VSLookup, HSLookup and PowerPoint, Outlook).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 yrs Experience & knowledge in using application of SAP Finance module, or other modules, planning tools, models, techniques and processes
- Desire to be challenged, expand professional knowledge and take on more responsibility over time.
- Good planning and organizing skills.
- Strong analytical, business and communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Experience with Excel or databases.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

- Anlyz SAP FIN Rprts track O&M & Cap actuals v/s budget plans: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
