Physician Assistant – Spine Surgery

Join Our Spine Surgery Team

Our well established and growing spine surgery practice is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinical team and work closely with our board-certified spine surgeons.

This is a dynamic, hands-on surgical position that offers the opportunity to participate in the full continuum of spine care, including operating room responsibilities, hospital-based patient care, outpatient clinical care, and surgical coordination.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working closely with surgeons and patients, takes initiative, is highly organized, and wants to become an integral member of a collaborative surgical team.

Our practice specializes in spine surgery and performs the full spectrum of contemporary spine procedures at some of the area’s most respected hospitals.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• First assist our spine surgeons during surgical procedures
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient management
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative clinical care

Office Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between patients, surgeons, hospitals, and the office team
• Assist with obtaining medical clearances and coordinating patients prior to surgery
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records
• Coordinate care from the initial surgical consultation through surgery and post-operative recovery

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Physician Assistant certification
• Current New Jersey PA license
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Previous orthopedic, spine, surgical, or hospital experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $115,000–$139,219 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
