Access Medical Associates – Branchburg, New JerseyCompensation: $70–$80 per hourStart Date: October 2026Schedule: 3–4 shifts per week
Access Medical Associates is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our established urgent care practice in Branchburg, New Jersey.
We are looking for a confident, motivated PA who is comfortable independently evaluating and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries while working collaboratively with our medical team. The ideal candidate will have prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience, strong procedural skills, and an excellent bedside manner.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with common urgent care illnesses and injuries
- Treat patients across a wide range of ages
- Perform laceration repair, splinting, wound care, abscess incision and drainage, and other common urgent care procedures
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
- Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans
- Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team when appropriate
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine preferred
- Current New Jersey Physician Assistant license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Current NCCPA certification
- Required prescribing credentials/licensure or ability to obtain them prior to employment
- BLS certification
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a busy clinical environment
Schedule:
Ideal schedule: 3–4 shifts per week

Compensation:
$70–$80 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
