We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology Practice. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty clinics. Your expertise will support diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of diverse medical conditions while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, patient assessments, and vital signs documentation to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory tests, and other clinical procedures; interpret results to guide treatment plans.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical records management and data collection.
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records while managing intake processes and discharge planning efficiently. Pay: $50,000.00 – $130,017.83 per year
