Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment. This role involves performing assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans for patients across various settings, including outpatient care and telehealth services.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage patients effectively to determine the urgency of care needed.
- Assist in family planning consultations and provide education on reproductive health.
- Collaborate with medical staff at a Level II Trauma Center to manage acute care cases.
- Utilize telehealth technology to provide remote patient consultations and follow-ups.
- Apply knowledge of physiology to inform treatment plans and patient education.
- Perform coding for medical procedures and diagnoses accurately for billing purposes.
- Manage pain management therapies and develop comprehensive pain management plans.
- Administer dermal fillers as part of aesthetic treatments when applicable.
- Ensure all outpatient procedures are conducted following best practices and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong triage skills with the ability to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Knowledge of family planning methods and reproductive health issues.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote patient management techniques.
- In-depth understanding of human physiology relevant to clinical practice.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices for accurate documentation and billing.
- Competence in pain management strategies and therapies.
- Experience with administering dermal fillers is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare teams effectively.
