Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at a Level III Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality emergency care and will be adept at handling a wide range of medical emergencies. This role requires the ability to perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and implement appropriate treatment plans in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Provide immediate medical attention to patients in emergency situations, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient conditions accurately.
• Administer treatments including but not limited to radiation therapy, botulinum toxin treatment, and pain management as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for urgent care cases.
• Manage patients requiring hospice palliative medicine, ensuring comfort and quality of life.
• Perform procedures such as dialysis and maintain aseptic technique throughout all medical interventions.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on best practices in emergency medicine.

ExperienceCandidates must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant Program. Experience in a Level III Trauma Center is highly desirable, along with proficiency in urgent care practices. A strong background in Emergency Medicine. The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $132,874.00 – $162,805.00 per year
