Title: Physician Assistant Position Type: Long-term, temporary (1+ years) Location: Staten Island, NY Hours: Full-time, flexible hours Monday through Friday Salary: $125-145 per hour Note: Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. No sponsorships available. Our client, NYC’s largest transportation government agency, is seeking a NYS licensed Physician Assistant to conduct Ready-for-Work assessments for internal employees. The physician will deliver efficient and professional patient care, with a strong focus on employee health services. Responsibilities:

  • Perform Ready-for-Work assessments for agency employees, including work clearance evaluations and annual physicals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with EMR usage and meeting agency-specific compliance requirements.
  • Provide flexibility by covering shifts at various locations as needed.
  • Offer recommendations for further care or follow-up as necessary.
  • Comfortably manage a consistent and high volume of patient care.

Requirements:

  • New York State Licensed Physician with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Preferred experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Hospital settings.
  • Experience conducting work clearance assessments and providing employee health services.
  • Comfortable working in a high-demand, high-volume environment. (You may typically see 15-20 patients per day.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with experience utilizing EMR systems.
  • Willingness to work different shifts and cover multiple locations as required.
  • CDL Medical Exam Provider preferred but NOT mandatory
