Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings including acute care, emergency medicine, and outpatient services. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient management and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions.
- Utilizes EMR system, eClinicalWorks for accurate patient documentation and data management.
- Provide triage services in urgent care settings.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records.
Requirements
- Flexible scheduling, alternating weekends.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant with relevant state licensure.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and documentation standards.
- Experience in various specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, occupational health, or infectious disease care is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, and basic life support.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork within a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining quality patient care standards. Pay: $109,073.91 – $131,357.81 per year
