Schedule

Full-time position available, primarily days. Weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with all members of a busy surgical practice to provide high quality care to outpatient patients undergoing total joint replacement of the hip/knee as well as first assist in the OR at our new outpatient surgical facility at Marketplace. Strong communication and clinical skills required. Must be eligible for billing. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner

Requires a Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Nurse Practitioner influences the quality and delivery of care in various roles including consultant, researcher, mentor, and practitioner. This role may be unit, program, or service based and is involved in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Physician Assistant

Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program, licensure in goodstanding, and certified as a Registered Physician Assistant. Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn. This role may be unit, program, or service based and is involved in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $47.12- $65.97

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the jobs salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
