Join a well-established private neurology practice in Rochester, NY, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, personalized care. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong interest in neurology to join our collaborative, patient focused team in Rochester, NY. We are a solo, physician-led neurology practice with over 35 years of experience, managing a broad range of neurologic conditions including headache/migraine, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, movement disorders, dementia, seizures as well as a number of other conditions. We also offer Botox injections for chronic migraine, EMG studies, and infusion therapies. Candidates with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience in neurology or related specialty experience preferred, but we are willing to provide mentorship for those with a strong interest in the field.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and obtain detailed patient histories
- Manage follow-up visits for patients with common neurologic conditions (headache, MS, neuropathy, movement disorders, dementia, etc.)
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care
- Collaborate closely with supervising neurologist on patient care plans
- Participate in procedures such as Botox injections, occipital nerve blocks and trigger point injections (training provided if needed)
- Contribute to a team-oriented, compassionate, and efficient clinical environment
Skills
- Proven work experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy and recovery
- Familiarity with advancements in medical technology and current know-how
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Comfortable with performing therapeutic injections such as Botox injections for chronic migraine, occipital nerve blocks and trigger point injections (training provided).
- Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet software and electronic medical records
- Caring and compassionate
- Team player with good communication skills
- BSc/MA in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science or Medical Science
