Job Overview:
A well-established Pediatrics practice in Flushing, NY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing team. The role involves providing primary care to patients from infancy through young adulthood ( ages 0-21 ).
We are excited to support international candidates and offer J1 and H1B visa sponsorship . Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese to meet the needs of our diverse patient community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for patients from newborns to young adults (ages 0-21).
- Perform well-child exams, sports physicals, and developmental screenings.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in children and adolescents.
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, growth milestones, and vaccinations.
- Collaborate with the pediatrician and healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Conduct patient follow-ups and manage care coordination as needed.
Qualifications:
- Physician Assistant (PA) Certification with an active New York State license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatrics or family medicine preferred (new graduates with strong pediatric rotations are welcome).
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing culturally competent care .
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week (Outpatient only).
- Part-Time: Minimum of 3 days per week.
- No inpatient, no call, no weekends.
- Flexible scheduling options are available.
