About the Facility: Our client is seeking a highly experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join their exceptional team in Astoria, NY. The facility operates from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and offers a very pleasant, supportive, and collaborative work environment. They are primarily seeking coverage for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but are open to offering a full‑time schedule for the right candidate.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Physician Assistant with substantial clinical experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, urgent care, and primary care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to integrate effectively into a fast‑paced, collaborative healthcare team while consistently delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan, including geriatrics and pediatrics.

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and follow up on patient progress.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Medicaid ID.

• Extensive experience as a Physician Assistant in geriatrics, pediatrics, urgent care, and primary care.

• Valid PA license in the state of New York.

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
