Full Job Description

Dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistants are invited to join our multidisciplinary team in a dynamic urgent and primary care environment. You will deliver quality medical care to a diverse patient population, addressing both acute and chronic health needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct comprehensive exams, diagnose/manage illnesses, interpret tests
  • Develop treatment plans for chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, asthma)
  • Perform minor procedures (suturing, wound care, splinting, etc.)
  • Provide preventive care, screenings, and lifestyle counseling
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
  • Educate patients, manage follow-ups, and provide telemedicine services
  • Document in EMR and prescribe medications
  • Engage in continuing education and quality improvement
  • Uphold HIPAA, confidentiality, and ethical standards

Requirements:

  • PA degree, licensed in NY
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Infection Control
  • EMR proficiency; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Team-oriented, patient-focused mindset

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary + monthly RVU-based bonuses:
  • $10 per sick visit above threshold
  • $5 per follow-up above threshold
  • $10 per CCM patient

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
