Women’s Fertility Physician Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and gather patient medical history
- Perform intrauterine insemination (IUI), endometrial biopsies
- Perform transvaginal ultrasounds including antral follicle count, monitoring during in vitro
fertilization cycles, endometrial lining development, early obstetrical ultrasounds
- Counsel patients on treatment options
- Coordinate cycles for IVF, Egg Donor and Gestational Carrier cycles
- Administers or orders diagnostic tests, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for
deviations from normal.
- Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and
assists in the provision of continuity of care.
- Work closely with our fertility doctors to provide top quality care for our patients
- On the job training provided
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited PA program, current NYS licensure, BLS/ACLS
certification and NCCPA board certification are required. Also, the candidate must have
current Infection Control Certification.
Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a fertility or Ob/GYN practice preferred
- Ultrasound experience preferred
- Experience in and a passion for women’s health, fertility is a plus
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and be a team player and possess strong clinical skills.
- This position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance
positive relationships with patients, colleagues and the medical center.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented medical center
environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
