About the Practice:We are a specialized gynecologic oncology surgical practice in Manhattan dedicated to providing world-class care to patients with complex gynecologic conditions, including advanced endometriosis, gynecologic cancers, and minimally invasive surgical treatments. Led by a renowned surgeon, we emphasize excellence, compassion, and innovation in patient care.

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the surgical and clinical activities of the practice, assist in the care of pre- and post-operative patients, and play an integral role in enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients under the supervision of the attending gynecologic oncologist
  • Participate in surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups
  • Manage patient consultations, in-office procedures, and follow-up care
  • Coordinate with referring physicians, imaging centers, and surgical facilities
  • Review imaging, labs, and pathology reports; help prepare case reviews and surgical planning
  • Provide patient education and support throughout their treatment journey
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system and ensure timely completion of notes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case discussions

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • Active New York State Physician Assistant license
  • Prior experience in surgical specialties, gynecologic oncology, or women’s health preferred
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and strong clinical documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch environment focused on patient-centered care

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time position with occasional early morning hours based on surgical schedule
  • Competitive salary based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
