Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual (Spanish) Physician Assistant to join our panel of healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in various settings including home care and hospital environments. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients, conducting physical examinations, and assisting in treatment plans. Your expertise in administering injections and performing IV infusions will be essential to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
• Administer injections and IV infusions as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions and wellness strategies.
• Utilize Epic or similar electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
• Assist in pediatric care, ensuring the comfort and safety of young patients.
• Participate in surgical procedures in the operating room (OR) as required.
• Stay updated on advancements in physiology knowledge to enhance patient care.

Experience

• Previous experience in private practice or hospital settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in administering injections and IV infusions is required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of physiology and its application in clinical practice is essential.
• Prior experience in health coaching or patient education will be beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
