Full Job Description

Growing Endocrinology office looking to hire a full OR part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide care under the supervision of board-certified Endocrinologist physician/practice owner. The PA/NP will diagnose/treat Endocrine conditions, as well as promote good health practices, conduct physical examinations, interpret lab tests and oversee patients’ health. As a member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare providers, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Responsibilities:

· Examine patients and take their history

· Order diagnostic tests (bloodwork, xrays, DEXA scans, ultrasounds, etc.)

· Diagnose and treat Endocrine conditions/illnesses

· Prescribe medications/devices

· Maintain accurate records/notes

· Inform patents of conditions and medications

· Educate patients on medications/devices/diseases

· Promote best health practices

· Maintain a trusting, confidential and understanding relationship with patients

Skills:

· Valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license required

· Experience as Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER or other medical setting

· Experience in Endocrinology a plus

· Knowledge of health and patient care regulations

· Excellent communication skills

· Team spirit with a positive attitude

Compensation:

· Compensation depends on experience
