About the Role:
As a physician assistant at Neighborhood, you will work in a collaborative team to provide patient-centered care, including care for people who may otherwise not have access. You and the clinical staff will design and implement individualized care in a setting where each patient is treated with respect and compassion. You will have opportunities to influence decisions regarding care. Essential responsibilities include:
- Oversee and provide direct patient primary care under supervision of a physician
- Facilitate care coordination and clinical collaboration under supervision of a physician
- Ensure quality care and risk mitigation under supervision of a physician
You will be primarily based at one of our six primary care locations.

Education and Skills to be a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner at Neighborhood:
- Physician Assistant, licensed in NYS prior to start date
- Candidates with 3 or more years of experiences will be given preference

What We Offer:
Compensation: $110,000 – $115,000 annual salary (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week)
Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
Tuition Reimbursement Potential: Our FQHC status provides a unique opportunity for tuition reimbursement for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, up to $50,000 for a full time commitment and up to $25,000 for a part time commitment. A two year commitment to serve at a FQHC is required. This tuition reimbursement program requires application and is not guaranteed.
