Are you a confident and skilled Physician Assistant ready for the challenges and rewards of high-acuity medicine? We’re looking for an experienced PA to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) in Brooklyn, where every decision counts and every action can change a life.

In this dynamic, team-oriented environment, you’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge care to critically ill surgical patients. Weekend coverage is required on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care in the SICU
  • Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
  • Respond to emergencies and perform procedures as credentialed
  • Track and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families about care plans, recovery, and ongoing needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current New York State Physician Assistant license
  • NCCPA certification
  • BCLS required; ACLS required if specified by the department
  • Prior experience in SICU or critical care strongly preferred

Pay: $139,000.00 – $176,000.00 per year
