Full Job Description
We are seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our multidisciplinary injury-care practice treating patients involved in motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries. You will work collaboratively with chiropractic, physical therapy, orthopedic, and pain-management providers in a structured clinical environment.
This is an injury-focused clinical role.
Schedule
- Required:
Tuesdays | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Brooklyn)
- Preferred (not required):
Every other Monday | 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Queens)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial, follow-up, and re-examinations for No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation patients
- Conduct focused musculoskeletal and neurological examinations
- Document clinical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately in the EMR
- Perform clinically appropriate procedures, including trigger point injections and joint injections. (training provided if needed)
- Refer patients for diagnostic imaging when medically indicated
- Coordinate care with in-house and consulting providers
- Communicate patient progress with the supervising/collaborating physician
- Practice in compliance with New York State laws, regulations, and office clinical protocols
Requirements
- Active New York State PA or NP license
- Ability to work Tuesdays in Brooklyn
- Willingness to cover every other Monday in Queens (preferred)
- Experience or strong interest in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, or injury-based care
- No-Fault / Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
- Primary location: 381 Rockaway Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11212 with occasional coverage at 97-08 Springfield Blvd, Queens Village, NY 11429 as needed.
Compensation & Employment Status
- W-2 employee position
- Hourly rate: $80–$95 per hour, based on license, experience, and clinical skill set
- Eligibility for performance-based bonuses
- Malpractice insurance not provided
