Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. This role requires a strong background in outpatient medicine (Urgent Care, Primary Care). The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing patient information.
- Utilize the eCW & MDLand systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, ensuring appropriate protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nursing and healthcare.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
- Current NP or PA certification and state licensure.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and acute pain management.
- Experience or training in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) processes is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $76.00 – $88.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
