Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, acute pain management, and critical care practices. The Nurse Practitioner will also be involved in discharge planning and public health initiatives to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care effectively.
• Manage acute pain and provide critical care as necessary.
• Utilize data management skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with medical standards, including ICD-10 coding for diagnoses.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of ailments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.

Experience

• A Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field is required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure are mandatory.
• Experience in public health or critical care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes and standards of care is advantageous.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and data management systems is essential.
• Previous experience in triage or acute pain management will be considered a plus.
