Position: Physician Assistant – NeurologyType: On-siteLocation: Brooklyn, NY 11219Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Weekends)Setting: Outpatient / HospitalEmployment Type: Direct Hire – PermanentCompensation: $145,000 – $170,000 (commensurate with experience)Benefits: Union role with full benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-term Disability
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and physical exams
- Interpret and review neurodiagnostic studies (EEG, MRI, CT scans, EMG)
- Manage patients with chronic neurological conditions (e.g., epilepsy, Parkinson’s, MS, stroke)
- Collaborate with neurologists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up plans
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans in the EMR
Requirements:
- Active New York State Physician Assistant license and NCCPA certification
- Graduation from an accredited PA program
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- 1–3 years of neurology or acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in neurology
- Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
