Job Overview:
Join our team as a Physician Assistant where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for public health and acute care to join our team at a prestigious Level I Trauma Center.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients
– Assist in catheterization procedures and other medical interventions as required
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
– Utilize Epic software for accurate documentation of patient information
– Participate in clinical research activities to enhance patient outcomes
Skills:
– Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and medical procedures
– Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
– Strong background in acute care and clinical research practices
– Knowledge of ICD-9 coding standards for accurate documentation
– Ability to work effectively in a Level I Trauma Center environment
– Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications:
- Licensed in New York State
- Board Certified or Eligible
- 1+ year of experience preferred but not required
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Required Cantonese, at least conversational talk with Cantonese speaking patient, while Mandarin is preferred not mandatory)
