Job Overview:Maimonides Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Bay Ridge Emergency Department. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing excellent patient care alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver interventions in collaboration with the ED team.
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NYS Licensure and registration.
- Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Valid DEA number.
- Excellent clinical experience.
- NCCPA certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Physician Assistant experience in a Emergency Department
Compensation:$140K – $170K, depending on years of experience, certification, and expertise (Unionized position).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
