Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in managing patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes, particularly in emergency and acute care settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, particularly in emergency medicine.
- Perform patient care management and triage for acute care patients.
- Interpret medical imaging results and utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in teaching hospitals to enhance patient care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Assist in the management of patients requiring specialized treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong knowledge of primary care or emergency medicine practices and protocols.
- Proficiency in coding, particularly ICD-9, for effective patient record management.
- Experience with medical imaging interpretation is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach complex concepts effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in out-patient setting is highly desirable. Training will be provided for the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
