Job Title: Physician Assistant Location: Brooklyn, NY Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and promoting overall patient health and wellness. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in collaboration with physicians.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood tests, and EKGs.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.

– Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care.

  • Perform minor medical procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay current with medical advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
  • Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
