Full Job Description

We are a well-established, fast-paced private oncology practice seeking a Mid-Level Practitioner (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our collaborative and compassionate care team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of oncology patients while gaining valuable experience in a specialized medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and medical histories
  • Interpret labs, imaging, and test results to assist with treatment planning
  • Collaborate with oncologists and other clinical staff to provide high-quality care
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and care plans
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in patient records

  • Conduct patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and medical histories
  • Interpret labs, imaging, and test results to assist with treatment planning
  • Collaborate with oncologists and other clinical staff to provide high-quality care
  • Perform procedures as appropriate (e.g., port flushes, injections)
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and care plans
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in patient records

Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted license in NY State
  • Oncology or internal medicine experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-based environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $151,657.00 – $160,997.00 per year
