Job OverviewAs a Physician Assistant with Home Life Primary Care you will be able to use all your skills while caring for an underserved geriatric population. Primary Care and Wound Care under the supervision of a board certified surgeon. You may also be interested in an ownership interest down the road.
Responsibilities– Provide direct patient care during home visits throughout Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan.- Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests- Minor wound care procedures (can be taught during mini preceptorship)- Opportunity to work some hours in fully accredited Hyperbaric Center in Manhattan which is part of the practice.- Opportunity for the motivated candidate for ownership track.
Experience– Strong background in patient care with experience in geriatrics and senior care- EMR- Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient care settings- Experience with wound care a plus but not required.- Previous exposure to coding practices would be beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $80.00 – $120.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
