OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage various medical situations effectively. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in an outpatient setting, contributing to patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Manage acute pain management protocols for patients.
  • Provide care for patients in an inpatient setting, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Utilize medical imaging and data management systems for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Participate in clinical trials and public health initiatives as required.
  • Perform airway management procedures when necessary.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of acute pain management techniques and protocols.
  • Experience in an inpatient or medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical trials and public health issues is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in data management systems related to patient care and medical imaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $90.00 – $110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
