OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing medical procedures in various settings, including urgent care and telehealth. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes through effective communication and comprehensive care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and take detailed medical histories of patients.
• Administer injections and perform IV infusions as required.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
• Provide education to patients regarding health management and preventive care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive public health services.
• Utilize telehealth technology to assess and treat patients remotely when necessary.
• Perform esthetic laser treatments as part of a holistic approach to patient care.
• Catheterize patients when needed, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficiency in administering injections and performing IV infusions is essential.
• Experience with discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation standards.
• Knowledge of public health principles and practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for long-term care settings is beneficial.
• Experience in telehealth services, enhancing access to care for patients remotely is advantageous.
• Skills in esthetic laser treatment techniques are desirable for those interested in cosmetic procedures.
• Ability to catheterize patients with precision and care, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
• Experience working in urgent care environments, providing timely assessments and interventions is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 – $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
