OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing medical procedures in various settings, including urgent care and telehealth. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes through effective communication and comprehensive care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and take detailed medical histories of patients.
- Administer injections and perform IV infusions as required.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
- Provide education to patients regarding health management and preventive care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive public health services.
- Utilize telehealth technology to assess and treat patients remotely when necessary.
- Perform esthetic laser treatments as part of a holistic approach to patient care.
- Catheterize patients when needed, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in administering injections and performing IV infusions is essential.
- Experience with discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for long-term care settings is beneficial.
- Experience in telehealth services, enhancing access to care for patients remotely is advantageous.
- Skills in esthetic laser treatment techniques are desirable for those interested in cosmetic procedures.
- Ability to catheterize patients with precision and care, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Experience working in urgent care environments, providing timely assessments and interventions is a plus.
