OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical practices and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility.
- Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, following established protocols and standards.
- Administer basic life support as needed and participate in emergency response situations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams in the operating room (OR) to assist with procedures as required.
- Deliver urgent care services to patients with immediate health concerns.
- Experience administering injections and other medications as prescribed by supervising physicians.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving clinical practices and patient care outcomes.
- Support medical-surgical procedures by preparing patients and assisting during operations.
Skills
- Proficient in taking vital signs and performing comprehensive physical examinations.
- Strong understanding of discharge planning processes and patient education.
- Knowledge of infectious disease management and treatment protocols.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) is required; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in an operating room environment is preferred.
- Ability to provide urgent care services effectively under pressure.
- Competence in administering injections and managing medication regimens safely.
- Research skills that contribute to evidence-based practice improvements in patient care.

Pay: $135,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
