OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in hospice palliative medicine and pain management. This role requires a proactive approach to patient health, emphasizing comprehensive care and effective communication. As a Physician Assistant, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical services.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer IV infusions and perform medical imaging as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
- Engage in clinical research to enhance patient care practices.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions, including public health initiatives.
- Perform dermatological procedures such as dermabrasion when necessary.
- Manage patient data effectively to ensure accurate record-keeping and continuity of care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Experience or knowledge in hospice palliative medicine and pain management is preferred.
- Familiarity with data management systems and electronic health records.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical research participation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.

Pay: $140,435.00 – $148,785.00 per year
