OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedics medical team. . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a NP or PA , you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.

Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies
•Administer non-surgical fracture reductions
•Monitor and manage the healing process, adjusting treatment plans as needed
•Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections
•Administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound
•Apply casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions
•Ensure proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts
•Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies
•Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment
•Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation
•Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in patient as determined
Qualifications
•6 months of outpatient experience as an Orthopedic Provider
(Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN/Physician Assistant/PA)
•6 months of experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and injections
Education Requirements:
Masters Degree preferred
NY State NP License
License Requirements: Drug Enforcement Administration
Salary: $130,000k-$150,000k
