Presbyterian Medical Group seeks an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established neurology practice in New Mexico. We’re all about well-being, starting with yours. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.
- 36 patient care contact, 4 hours admin time
- Manage follow up care for Neurology diseases
- Work with an established care team
- Patient volume 14-16 patients per day
- No call and no weekend expectations

Qualifications:
What We’re Seeking:
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with neurological experience required
- Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to increase knowledge
- Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
- Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
Responsibilities:
- Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
- Manages the physician/patient relationship.
- Participates in system wide health management initiatives.
- Provides input into the practice site s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
- Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
- Receives and resolves patient complaints.
- Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, ins-ervices, and workshops.
*Advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of patients with endocrine disorders. *Manage acute and chronic diseases.
- Order, conduct and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests.
- Prescribe treatments medications and non-pharmacologic therapies.
- Involved in teaching and counseling individuals, families and groups.
- Work autonomously as well as collaborate with other health care providers as needed.
- Serve as health care resources, interdisciplinary consultants and patient advocate.
