Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Physcian Assistant to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We’re all about well-being, starting with yours. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.
Practice Highlights:
  • Work in a elective general surgery practice
  • Clinic and OR first assist responsibilities
  • Team consists of APC and Physician partners

Responsibilities:

Summary: Provides quality healthcare in collaboration with other health care provides in an elective general surgery practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical exams and medical history of patients, including pre-operative evaluations and post operative follow-ups.
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures in the OR
  • Manage post operative care including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and addressing any complications or patient concerns
  • Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication throughout the process
  • Other duties as required
Other information:
The minimum requirements are as follows:
For Physician Assistant – Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required. Minimum of one year experience preferred but not required.
