OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in providing comprehensive pediatric care across outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have experience and possess a strong foundation in pediatric assessment, treatment, and patient management. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, research, and patient-centered care in compliance with HIPAA and NCQA standards. Prior experience in outpatient practice is highly desirable. The Pediatric Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to pediatric patients.

Three day work week

No need to chart at home

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical histories.
• Participate in patient education regarding medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, medication administration, and infection control practices.

Skills

• Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-10).
• Knowledge of physiology principles relevant to pediatrics; ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for patient assessment documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration; understanding of medical terminology is essential.
• Ability to work effectively within a outpatient setting adhering to NCQA standards; experience in public health or home care environments is beneficial. Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
